Pullman Brisbane Airport voted Best Australia/Pacific Airport Hotel in Skytrax Global Awards


The Pullman Brisbane Airport is honored to once again receive the title of Best Australia/Pacific Airport Hotel at the renowned Skytrax World Airport Awards, announced at the 2022 World Airport Awards in Paris, France. The Pullman Brisbane Airport also ranked 6th in the World’s Best Airport Hotels 2022 ranking.

Alex Penklis, COO of Brisbane Airport Hotels Group (BAHG), said this award is a testament to the dedication and determination shown by everyone involved within the hotel, especially in these difficult times. “I am incredibly proud of what we have been able to accomplish and winning this award for the second time in four years is a direct result of our team’s hard work and dedication to delivering a quality product and top level customer service to our customers on a daily basis.

This is the second Skytrax award for Pullman Brisbane Airport having received the Best Airport Hotel Australia/Pacific 2019 award, as well as 5th position in the World’s Best Airport Hotels 2019.

Developed by Anthony and Scott Flynn, of Flynn Property Group and Scott Flynn Properties respectively, Pullman Brisbane Airport was part of a $150 million project that also included the 243-room ibis Brisbane Airport and the 1,800m² Brisbane Airport Conference Centre. The two brothers have also delivered a quality 4.5 star hotel in the Skygate area of ​​Brisbane Airport – Novotel Brisbane Airport. The three hotels with a combined total of 532 rooms see the pair as Accor’s largest franchisee in the region.

The Pullman Brisbane Airport opened in October 2017 as a five-star luxury offering under Accor. With 132 rooms including 2 Executive Suites, 6 Junior Suites, 12 Deluxe Executive Rooms, the hotel offers its customers a relaxing transit while waiting for their flight. The Skytrax World Airport Awards are the aviation industry’s most prestigious awards, voted for by customers in the world’s largest annual airport customer satisfaction survey. The investigation and award process is independent and free from any airport influence or interference in the final results. The awards are based on 13.73 million airport customer surveys completed during the survey period. Covering a large network, the survey assessed key performance indicators such as – overall hotel experience, airport access, front desk service, cleanliness, restaurant quality, value for money and the quality of customer service.
