Top quality steaks served not just with the sides, but with a smile.

It’s the kind of “steak-cation” steak lovers will enjoy in Clark, the new investment hub, tourist and family destination, and soon to be, modern Singapore-like metropolis in the heart of Angeles, Pampanga.

Everything a steak lover needs to do when they crave the juiciest, most tender, perfectly seasoned, flavorful, melt-in-the-mouth (in any cut you want – ribeye, tenderloin, striploin, tenderloin, brisket, etc.) flown in daily from the US, Australia and other steak capitals of the world , is to draw a map and draw a path to over 21 restaurants that offer the most delicious steaks inside Clark.

Steak Crawl will bring you and your appetite to the Clark Development Corporation (CDC) brand of “steak-perience” in several international hotel chains and restaurants within Clark.

Clark, a sprawling complex of over 30,000 acres, has 140 dining establishments you can choose from for a gastronomic treat. And other catering establishments are expected to open.

With Clark International Airport attracting hundreds of tourists, local and international, and truckloads of steaks, it’s no surprise that Clark is slowly gaining a reputation as the nation’s second-best steak destination.

CDC Vice Chairman Dennis Legaspi said the Steak Crawl was designed based on a recommendation from former Armed Forces Chief of Staff Gen. Benjie Defensor for the CDC to “design a map where to eat steak at Clark” instead of doing it in a hurry.

The “steak menu” we followed just recently brought us to these places.

Olive Restaurant – Hilton Clark Sun Valley

If you’re craving a huge slice of Australian Black Angus OP ribs (aka Tomahawk or Cowboy Steak), the king of all steaks, absolutely juicy and succulent, this is the place for you. Executive Chef Robert Davis pairs your steak with grilled asparagus and mushrooms, fried sweet potatoes and mashed potatoes – his own version of mashed marble roast potatoes, tossed with bacon bits and other ingredients lip smacking. The location is a bonus with the greens outside blending into the dining area. In addition, the staff are smiling and helpful, led by their general manager Denise Molintas, who is very practical and efficient.

Café Midori – Midori Clark Hotel and Casino

The American rib eye steak here is tender and succulent and the sides are artfully presented so you end every meal with a sigh of satisfaction. The café’s cakes and bread are also a feast for the eyes. The hotel’s Toscana Dining also offers the best Chinese dimsum. Midori’s Sales and Marketing Manager, Sophia Lin, is always there to make sure your dining experience is superb.

Smoki Moto – Clark Marriott Hotel

The best view, the romantic ambiance, but above all, the Wagyu steak here has to be the most tender, delectable and flavorful, which the ladies at the tables next to ours had no choice but to say “yes!” to the marriage proposals of their boyfriends. If you want a different kind of “high” with your experience of steaks, a live band, soju bombs, and delicious Korean food with plenty of side dishes, this is your place. Nica del Puerto of the Marriott Marketing and Communications team gets the heart thump for this dining experience.
