More than 500 jobs will be on offer when Stansted Airport hosts its third major job fair of the year on Tuesday October 4.

With Christmas approaching and what is expected to be a busy 2023, 25 companies are recruiting cabin crew, retail managers, engineers, chefs, drivers, check-in agents and service representatives. customer service.

Some of the employers looking to meet new talent are Ryanair, Titan Airways, Border Force, Jet2.com, World Duty Free, HMS Host, National Express and London Stansted.

The airport has hired more than 300 new employees for its security operations since January, while airlines, ground handlers and retailers have also recruited hundreds of new employees.

The summer 2022 recruitment campaign involved a partnership with colleges, job centers and councils and an event at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium which attracted more than 1,500 job seekers.

“There are around 500 jobs available at various airport companies looking for cabin crew, engineers, sales people and hospitality staff.

“An airport job is a great fit for people with strong people skills, a drive to succeed and an interest in building an exciting career in aviation. Airports offer a wide variety, tons of opportunities and a fantastic team that is here to support you.

“This year’s career fairs have been extremely popular, so we recommend that job seekers register early for next week’s event to avoid disappointment.”
