Today, Thursday 22n/a In September, more than 650 positions are available at a Manchester Airport job fair, held at the Forum Center in Wythenshawe.
There are a variety of positions on offer at the airport, and roles are also available with a number of other businesses that operate there – such as retailers and food and beverage outlets.
The job fair is organized by Manchester Airport Academy and in partnership with the Department for Work and Pensions and Manchester City Council.
Jobs include customer services, security personnel, reception and parking.
In addition to operational functions, nearly 100 jobs are also available in IT, finance, energy, assets, trading and engineering.
Dnata Catering, HMS Host, DHL, Menzies Aviation and Interstate Hotels, to name a few, are among the other companies participating and present at the show.
Additionally, retail partners will also be on hand to showcase available roles at outlets such as Wagamama, Spar, Costa Coffee, Pret a Manger, JD Sports, WHSmith, Boots and KFC.
Career fair attendees will have the opportunity to engage directly with employers, ask any questions they may have of those recruiting, and learn more about what employers expect from candidates, increasing thus their chances of getting a job at the airport.
